Amiyah Peñaranda had firmly marked in her head that in this world, nothing is permanent. Everything can be lost, changed, and ended in a blink of an eye. Until Darien Acuesta barged into her life. For a decade and a year, Darien gave Amiyah a spark of hope that what she had always believed in was wrong. "This is it. He is the one," she often thinks. One day, the art museum invited him to display his artwork there. Behind those paintings he made, are all about his heartbroken past with a woman he loved the most. But he thought life's not a movie or fairytales with a happy ending. Fate's really playful, what you wished is what you'll never expect in the end. Everyone has reasons and choices. Someday, he'll find his muse that will love him. Right person, right time, and right place. But, let be Neill the one to share the story behind his paintings. This is my official entry for the writing contest. Words: 300. NOTE: I wrote this a year ago, from time to time I published and unpublished it for some personal reasons. Also, this was my first time joining and all I can say is it was fun and a mix emotion experience.
