Anwar was already moving toward her. "Anwar... don't," she whispered. His hand reached for her veil. She screamed, the sound tearing from her throat as panic took over. "Keep quiet!" he shouted, his voice thunderous, shaking the room. She fought back, pushing at his chest, struggling with everything she had. Fear made her hands shake, but she didn't stop resisting. Her breaths came fast and broken as she tried to escape his grip. his father's call came through and puts it on speaker. "What is happening there?" his father demanded. "Who is screaming like that?" Anwar didn't hesitate. "It's my wife-to-be." Nayara opened her mouth to speak, to scream for help-but Anwar's voice cut her off. "Stay quiet," he warned sharply. On the line, his father's voice exploded, ordering him to stop whatever he was doing. Anwar ignored him. Instead, he picked up his phone again and dialed another number. It rang twice. "Nayara?" her father's tense voice came through. "Where are you? Why aren't you home?" She tried to answer. "She's with me," Anwar said instead. There was a pause. "Who are you?" her father asked. "Her husband-to-be." "What nonsense is this?" her father snapped. Anwar's voice turned cold. "I don't have time. My father is on the line. I want to marry Nayara immediately." Both men started shouting at once through the speaker. Anwar leaned closer to Nayara, lowering his voice so only she could hear. "Tell him." She shook her head, tears filling her eyes. He raised his voice again. "I want her as my wife. Decide now." His father roared through the phone, furious, ordering him to step back. Anwar didn't move. "I'd rather touch her as my wife," he said calmly into the phone, "than do something I won't take responsibility for. If you refuse this marriage, don't expect me to change my mind." Nayara let out a broken scream. Her father's voice cracked as he demanded, "What do you want?" Anwar answered without hesitation. "Marry her to me. Now."

--- The Challengers Written by Hafsatu Salisu Five stories. Five destinies. Five kinds of love-across generations. In the heart of Northern Nigeria, where tradition meets resilience, five young hearts navigate friendship, loyalty, and quiet love. Raihan's heart beats with Raihanna's name, but her silence holds more than pain-it holds power. Alamin watches with quiet understanding. Maryam feels the sting of jealousy. Ammara holds the bond together. And Raihanna? She challenges the world with her silence and her strength. But this isn't just their story. Behind them stand mothers who once fought their own battles. -women whose marriages taught them pain, patience, and pride. Their love stories weren't perfect, but they were real. And now, they pass down their courage, their wisdom, and their warnings. "You are every woman's king of heart-but not me," Fatima declares. "I will fight for my justice till I get my justice," Raihanna answers. Long-lost friends reunite. Secrets stir. And love-both young and old-faces its greatest test. This is a story of hijabi voices rising. Of strong female leads. Of childhood bonds and married truths. Of courage, loyalty, and the kind of love that doesn't need to shout to be heard. They are not just characters. They are challengers. And their story is just beginning. The pain of separation after secondary school with pain of never seeing your beloved friend seeking and searching for them, the eagerness to see them again share those memories left ,how Lucky they are to find you again.........................

What are you trying to do "I stuttered noticing how he is coming close to me". What do you think? "he whispered pulling me closer in a light tug". Mi love "he whispered in a daze before capturing my lips". I tried to break the kiss but he didn't allow me too.i was getting breathless not because of the kiss but because of the way his hands were moving and touching me. I dug my nails into his arms, telling him to stop and thanks to Allah he stopped. I quickly lower my gaze, because I don't have that courage to look into his eyes.I have never ever expect this from him. Get your f***ing body away from my sister, f***ing moron. We turned at the same direction the voice came from. I felt something down my throat and my breath, ya Allah it's became irregular immediately I set my eyes on ya fawwaz. He saw us "he f***ing saw us" my heartbeat was on a rampage and he was moving closer. my reluctance was immediately replaced by concern when I saw he looking angryly toward farouk.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> It had been a cold night, Jason was in the kitchen, trying to cook up something for them. He'd fired the cook a few days before, claiming she was snitching on them to Father. It must've been rice, and stew, maybe, because Michael hadn't known if it was blood or hot stew on his brother's hands when he came staggering out of the kitchen. He looked up from his phone, '' Ahahhn, topman, shey na stew pour for your hand?'' Jason opened his mouth to say something, but instead of words, blood came gushing out. He dropped the phone and rushed over to his brother. Jason slumped, time stopped, the room was suddenly very cold. He tried to pick him up, Jason wouldn't move, he couldn't. ''Jason! Jason! Jason!!!!'' Someone's voice was cracking, croaky. He started crying. He was squeezing him too tight, the blood was soaking his shirt, he did not care. ''Its not possible, it's not true'' Cradling his brother in his arms, he cried, and cried, then howled and howled some more, till he lost his voice. The rice was still on fire tho.
