We are continuously challenged emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Often times we get tired of it all. We tend to loose our inner resilience. With that, we forget that "its okay not to be okay". Resilience is our ability to thrive in the challenges thrown at us. The ability to adapt and recover comes from living through adverse situations. This resilience is comparable to a tiny sapling which needs nourishment to bloom. Similarly, our minds have the ability to bloom the resilience and strength within us.

The Quiet Below is a quiet ache of a poem-an ode to the kind of love that protects without praise, sacrifices without recognition, and stays steady in silence. Told through the metaphor of an anchor and a ship, it explores the selflessness of holding on so another may let go, the grace of devotion that exists without glory, and the ache of being left behind not because you weren't enough-but because you were everything they needed before they could stand alone. A tribute to the unseen, the unspoken, and the unthanked.

I hide behind these words and smile behind these tears. This is two truths and a lie. Inspired by my lonely thoughts after dark, each piece is delicate and mixed with fear and fascination.
