Fern is your typical city girl. Growing up in Los Angeles, there wasn't really a choice. She has her friend group, her crush, and gets Starbucks an average of 9 times a week. That all is about to change. After receiving an invite from her Aunt and Uncle inviting her to spend the summer with them in Wisconsin, Fern's parents do some discussing and decide it would be good for her to get out of the city. Leaving her friends and an epic summer behind, Fern is shipped off to Wisconsin, only to find that a new adventure and a luring romance was only 2,000 miles away from her all along.

As she tries to clean up the out dated cottage, to make her daughter proud, she notices some things aren't right.
