Chance, your average cute nerd. Hunter, your average player. Chance and Hunter are best friends despite the social rules of high school. One night Hunter convinces Chance to come along with him to what Chance thinks is a party. But once they arrive at their destination, Chance wished he had stayed home. For that night would change his life. A story of friendship, pain, love, remorse, hate, and forgiveness, Chance has to deal with the aftermath of a fateful night.

Living in a zombie apocalypse sucks. Vallory Dixon's entire family is gone. Friends, gone. Home, gone. But when she runs into a small group in the woods, maybe even meeting a long lost family member, will all hope be restored? Or will everything slip out of her grasp once more? (Not all events are from The Walking Dead, some will be but it won't be quoted phrase for phrase. I'm doing what I remember.)

What the hell happens when silence is the only response left? When fantasy collides with reality and beauty is underestimated? What would you do if you were left broken and the only sound that could be heard was nothing? In a world where nothing is really believable, yet everything is too real to be overlooked, lives begin to turn into games and emotions become conditioned to perfection.
