Andromache Jones is a tarot-reading witch from the sleepy village of Bramblesgrove, where she runs River Gardens Mystical Services. From here, she gives tarot readings, casts runes, gazes lovingly at the moon and stars, plays with crystals and herbs...and sometimes solves crimes. She likes to think of herself as a part-time private detective who untangles mysteries, but really she is an amateur sleuth who happens to attract trouble - and troublesome clients. It's the day of the Bramblesgrove Village Fair and Andromache Jones is giving away free tarot readings. However, she woke that morning recalling she had dreamt in purple. And that can only mean one thing...something quite extraordinary is going to happen. Dreaming in Purple is the first Andromache Jones Mini Mystery. I hope you'll enjoy it. When David Brandon, a British archeologist, finds himself trapped alone in an ancient basement, separated from the rest of his team during their research in a small town in Lebanon, he finds a pile of dilapidated, yellow manuscripts. Later on, when his colleagues get him out, he doesn't tell anybody about his discovery. A wrong move? According to him, not really. After having cautiously studied the documents, he discovers that those papers are Phoenician parchments that relate important events no one ever heard of. Reading them and understanding the gravity of those files, he decides not to show them to the world and keep them to himself, for leaking dangerous content like that could create a worldwide tumult. Because, after all, history repeats itself, right? And what the archeologist wanted to avoid at all costs was the narrated events to happen again. 90 years later, his methods prove ineffective. 2020, in general, proves him wrong. No one could stop the course of history. The materials you're about to read, ladies and gentlemen, are exclusively brought to us by his grandson, a guy who figures that hiding the truth any longer would not help, but on the contrary, harm even more. By now, you should know the significance and magnitude of the following words, so read at your own risk.

Ruby was never close with her sister. Now, she will never be when her sister dies in a car crash.
