[Contest Entry] AND THEN THERE WERE ZOMBIES.... A shorty story at the start of zombie apocalypse. At the height of a panicked world, Sky has to make a decision to fight or die when an abnormal sickness starts causing people to exhibit rabid behavior.

It's only 3 pages long but definitely worth reading. The main characters are based off of 2 people I ship in real life. They don't actually go out and probably never will. This a a zombie apocalypse story. The world doesn't know it yet, but a virus has spread across the US. The zombie disease has reached a school in a small town. The two students that are still alive, and hates each other, tries to escape to a safe location.

"The first to go was our sanity, the next our kin, and now our lives." The water that humans have relied on for hundreds of years has finally been contaminated. An experimental drug-never tested, yet expected to be sold as a mass poison on the black market-has been unleashed and merged with the very water we have been drinking our whole lives. With the contaminated water having deadly side affects on humans, Ashwyn is forced to leave her home and sanity behind, and instead place her trust in 4 teenagers just as naive and confused as she is.
