Smashing Fairytale, which he definitely didn't name after a lyric his old band wrote a long time ago as a way to remember them. But still, he feels something's missing. On a trip to his old favorite city, he runs into...Dan Reynolds? Now that's a name he hasn't heard in quite a while...

Imagine Dragons fanfic This is the sequel of "Hell And Silence". Amy and Daniel are still together after high school. But now they're 25 years old and so many things have changed. Amy has her own band and sometimes it seems like the tours are ripping everything apart. Calls at irregular times seem to be the savior for both of them. Daniel is under the pressure of creating a second album. How will they handle all the different things that happen and the insecurities? And is Amy really ok? They all live with their sorrows tied.

The boys have a run-in with a crazy (like, really crazy) fangirl. What follows is a high-speed chase through an old, abandoned ghost town, involving bikes and rope and rusty ladders, dumpsters, and climbing warehouses. And literal rings of fire. Total crackfic. Mild violence, no explicit content of any kind.

It might as well be hell to him, and after what he's been through, he just wants to leave. If you know me even in the tiniest amount, you should know that I am pure Dayne trash. And sadly, I don't see enough Dayne around. (and I'm talking hurt/comfort like I and a few others write, not that creepy slash stuff). What you may not know is that while some Dayne ideas get turned into the stories you see here on my page, a lot don't make the cut. A lot just for the reason that the idea is too short to really be turned into a story of a length I would like to publish. But I don't trash these ideas outright, they stay on my phone, a lot of them in a folder of conversations I've had with desolation_tragedy, because that's where I tend to bounce most of my ideas around. Plus some of these will be based around prompts from the tumblr page "brotpsmattertoo" because that's where a lot of these cut ideas start (and a few that have made the cut). So consider this an ongoing "dump zone" for those story ideas that didn't quite make the cut for a full-length story. And I'll say this here and now, if you come across one of these oneshots and think you have an idea on how to continue the story, just shoot me a quick message letting me know which one, and I'll let you take it in your own direction (with credit of course). And I will try to put trigger disclaimers on each individual oneshot since some will be just funny, but other may carry my pages dark overtheme.

They don't know why. They might discover it when they meet Dan Reynolds, a waiter in England who smiles bittersweetly and knows things they swore they never mentioned in interviews. So who is he? Why is he so familiar yet so strange? (This is very vaguely inspired by the Doctor Who episode Hell Bent. Especially the first chapter. Because I am trash.)
