Lilystar had never expected to be RiverClan's new leader. Her appointment was even against the warrior code! However, RiverClan needs a young, strong leader if it is to survive an unusually long winter. As tensions grow, Lilystar has to do all she can to keep her clan mates out of war, both with other clans and within RiverClan itself.
