When the two toms go to check it out they see Thistleclaw, a Tigerclan warrior, with a red kit dangling from her jaws. Owlleaf shoots Copperstar a horrified look and then the kit wakes up. Rain hummed against the leaves of a massive oak, it's trunk hiding two small bundles of fur that shook like the branches of the tree that were knocked back and forth by the wind. A pelt of scarlet snared and scrapped at the trunk, trying to pry the helpless creatures from their hiding spot. Suddenly a flash of fur knocked the creature from the trunk and began fighting the fox valiantly. " Wavestar, we have a message from you. " The Dark blue-grey tom cat stood before his starry ancestors, his deep blue pools seemed to be sucking in the scenery that was before him. " Beware of fur of scarlet, such will cause blood to soak the ground, only to be washed away by familiar pawsteps. But beware, what is familiar to the eye may not be familiar to the heart. " Wavestar stared at his previous leader with confusion, causing his tail to drag against the ground below him. " Does that mean more death for my clan? " Not only death comes from blood, but also a new beginning, Wavestar.

One kit has the ability to receive prophecies from Starclan, Soon after his first omen, he realizes.
