Waking up that's all I can remember. I grew here, it's where I was formed. But why am I alone? I see all these weird machines and there's this feeling that i'm not supposed to touch them. Just as when I woke up I had these questions; who am I, where am I, why am I alone trapped in this place?. I only knew 1 answer which was that I am Onyx. ~~~~~ I really suck at descriptions but this is a Steven Universe fanfic with a new gem smack dad and slapped in the middle of it.

A/N: Umm... wow let me see. Umm Hi there fellow readers/writers and welcome to my first book. I'm really new to the whole author's thing but I'm willing to try and give up hours of sleep. So anyway on with the story. Steven Universe was just getting used to the whole Crystal Gem combat scene, but when an upcoming war between the Crystal Gems and Yellow Diamond erupts Steven is told to recruit the new Gems that Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl have had their eye on. Now it's up to Steven to see if these new Gems will be a great edition to the team or Earth 's down fall.
