The twenty-fourth entry of the 2022-2023 Film Journal is the long-waited new Makoto Shinkai film, "Suzume". Here, jumping off from my thoughts detailed in "Weathering with You" two film journals ago, I take a look at how Shinkai's latest work evokes my current opinion of him as a filmmaker.

Since after Itomori was destroyed by comet Tiamat and Tokyo flooded from ferocious raining. Yotsuha Miyamizu younger sister of Mitsuha, meets Alex Arch a fighter pilot of the JSDF.
