After his village is attacked by horrifying creatures, Drake is thrown into the middle of a war between a false king and the Weavers, a group of magic users who are tasked with the protection of all the land and its people. Upon losing Era, the one person he had left in the world, Drake joins the company of Garon and Hemlik, two people who were summoned by Era weeks earlier, to escort him safely to the Veil. Facing overwhelming odds, and fighting for his life against an unforgiving, murderous king and an army of voracious creatures known as Reith, Drake must make his way to the Veil and accept his place among the people he has been asked to fight with.

Tired of his sneak trips to the infamous city, he decided to make it final in the one way he knew how. Until he discovers his reason for coming has moved on to a guy name Brian Laborn. The line between infatuation and revenge is slippery.

This is kinda just a work of short scenes so far as I dip my toe into writing more and use the Worm world and characters to do so. At first, I thought this would be the one scene but I've already written a second one so Idk maybe I'll continue expanding and later use these scenes to create a more cohesive work when my writing skills are better and I'm more confident.
