After an "oops, we made a mistake" night together, neither one can stop thinking about the other. With a wedding party coming up they both have to stay together leading to them releasing some tension once in a while

Fierce, rich and bold Ellen Carson after the death of a family member allegedly by the doings of her lover flees to Paris to overcome the guilt and tongue lashings of her mother only to return to her hell hole years later for the wedding party. *** With wealth, affluence, and their likes by her side, she took her stance above all in the social hierarchy with confidence and power. She was meant to be the respectful, happy, non-alcoholic protagonist of the story but forced to look for closure by the endless tongue-lashings of an overly pampered housewife, known as her mother, she left her home. But now, we've all loved and lost. She has loved, lost but hasn't recovered. Throw in a knight in shining armor for this damsel in distress and you have yourself a perfect distraction. So the question is, how will she handle the approach of someone new? Is his attention enough for her to bring down her walls? After all his persistence what will be the outcome? What really happened that night? Note that in as much as this book has a love theme, this story is not focused on love, it is about self-discovery and self-love. While Gabriella worries about her relationship with Cody breaking because of his touring, and Cody worrying about Gabriella leaving school for him, they hit a wall in the relationship. Will they break up, or tough it out?
