Ragnhild Eilifsdotter is a Huldrekin, people related to the trolls of Norway, but more human-like. The men kept the people living under hill for centuries, so as soon as they were let out she moved to Seattle to experience some freedom. Unfortunately even the New World has rules and Ragnhild has to do a favor for a troll, always a tricky prospect.

From the domain of the Mythical Creatures, across the border to the land of the Aesir and on towards Myth Vegas, the Hare embarks on an adventure where not only will he get the money and the girl, but he'll show that damn Tortoise he doesn't need him! Will it all work out? NOTE: The Heist is serial fiction so it doesn't have chapters. There are very small and easy to read scenes instead.

For the Write-On Write-In, a tale about being early. The early birds get the worms. So do snipers.

A tale of my ancestors in Norway, from 1701 to 1843. Upon a barren framework of names, relationships, place names, and fragmentary dates of life events, I built a saga of what might have been, bolstered by tons of research and then a thrilling personal visit to the sites themselves.

Seeking relief from these dreary COVID times, I wandered off into some internet sites where there are compiled lists of funny newspaper headline gaffes. The content of this piece is based upon actual headlines or lines lifted from published stories, many of which would have profited from a little more judicious editing. I still have doubts about whether or not the editors wrote their apparently misbegotten phrases for comedic purposes or were the errors real. Jimt
