There the six would take place in a series of tests. The strongest, most cunning and graceful, would be crowned as the mate of the King. So what happens when a sort of old magic kicks in? True mates were thought to be lost, but it seems as though the Alpha King is in for a big surprise. ~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~ "Stop shocking me, Witch!" "You think I did that on purpose? You are more stupid than you look!" "Stupid? I could have you thrown in the dungeons for that!" "Then go ahead! Or are you to much of a coward?" I was signing my death warrant as we spoke. I shouldn't be talking to the King like I was, if anything I was the one being stupid. "You are an infuriating woman! If you weren't one of the six if have your head on a stake!" I had to admit that last one hurt, but it didn't stop my next remark. "Oh joy don't let that stop you!" With a growl he grabbed my wrist yanking me forward, into his sculpted chest. "No. I have a better idea to shut you up." With that he swooped down and pressed his soft lips against mine. Damn they were better than I had imagined. It was official- I was hooked...

It's a cliche, ordinary girl meets a good looking guy and they fall in love. Well, they would have if she let herself and if he wasn't a creature she thought only existed in stories. That one visit to her aunt's house near the forest changed everything. Seeing a wolf transform into a boy made her think she hallucinated for a week. But that thought changed when she got called out of class to show the new boy around. The moment she saw his eyes, her body petrified, realizing she never hallucinated and that her life won't be normal anymore. All the girls are drooling over Jason, but his eyes are only on one person, Cira. ''What are you?'' was the first question he asked her. She will find out that she isn't as ordinary as she thought she is. Will, they eventually fall for each other or will they end up on opposite sides when they find out she is a creature almost no one knows of?
