Follow the story of a Panzer crew as they fight in the deadliest war in history, World War 2. They will find new friends, lose old ones, and create a bond, not even death can break. DISCLAIMER: This is my first story so sorry if it is bad. Constructive criticism is welcomed. The story is historical fiction, major event, vehicles, and groups are real, characters and small events are not real.

In the earliest embers of WW2, 'phony' has nothing to do with it anymore. The germans are tearing into France, the blitzkrieg has begun. And against the black wave of terror stands a light- Lieutenant Maria crosse, posing as a boy to fight for her country. She and her comrades struggle under the brutal onslaught in Europe- and learn what honour amongst soldiers truly means.

1945, Germany's war was lost, but Hitler had refused to believe it so. In a last resort of defense, he brings up plan Z, and summoned hordes of undead soldiers to fight this losing battle to the end. It had left Europe in chaos and in ruins. Karl Fairburne, a German-American sniper, had been given a task to seek out survivors still lurking in the deepest areas of Berlin. From there, he would forge alliances he would never thought it would work, and together they would attempt to bring down Hitler's zombie army and hope to restore Europe. Particularly when the outcome bears heavy consequences for the rest of the globe.

This work is an extended review of The Guns of Normandy by George Blackburn in honour all Canadian soldiers who died in Normandy 75 year ago and those who gave their lives more than 100 years ago in the first world war. It describes the brutal battles with the elite infantry and tank divisions of the German Wehrmacht (arguable the best trained and equipped army in the world) after the Normandy D-Day landings. The British, Canadian and American tanks were totally outclassed by the German Panther and Tiger tanks. The British Sten gun was very unreliable compared to the German MP 40 (Schmeisser) but the speed and response of the British and Canadian artillery was far superior to the German's. The campaign was ultimately decided by Hitler's (the German dictator) strategic errors, the overwhelming allied air superiority and the tactical ingenuity and courageous determination of the allied aircrews, gunners, tankers and infantry. Along with best friend Franz, he heads off to to fight on the Eastern Front. Stories of hardship, friendship, and trust ensue, and an insight on how a German soldier might've felt during this tense war is shown.
