Something strange is occurring... In the dismal town of West's Peak, Washington, something strange is occurring. It all begins when a young couple and their daughter discover an amnesic man deep in the woods. Not only is the man amnesic, but he's also malnourished and has no idea who he is or where he came from. After the Starling family takes him under their wing, the stranger soon earns their trust. He develops a strong bond with the family's lonely daughter and the two become inseparable. But when West's Peak becomes plagued with paranormal occurrences, all logical answers seem to be hindered. Now the Starling's may have to face the fact that their newest family member is the culprit. But the hunt for answers may be something no one ever expected.

Esmeralda is not like other girls. Not only is she quirky (because she likes chicken nuggets, wears lots of sweatpants and the color black, and doesn't wear makeup.), she has magical powers that tell her who watches My Little Pony or not. Unfortunately, the boy of her dreams watches My Little Pony and she has to stop him because they are 45 and that is really weird.

I was a transfer from Beaxbatons and was going to Hogwarts for the rest of my school life. The Weasleys are the closest people my family knows and we always catch up. Sofia (my friend later on) knows something I dont. I was in the third year and I didnt know anyone except the Weasleys and my brother Cedric. It was hard getting bullied by a bunch of slytherins there, and worse when danger comes around the corner...

That's when it happened, the most horrifying thing anyone could imagine...the finger moved! It wiggled! It twisted! It started to crawl forward!
