A father is welcomed back by his family after a long business trip. Youngest son with a strong connection spends time with him. But after a while some thing seems wrong, his father forgot to pat the dog. His favorite dog statue that he pats after a long business trip. Then again it was a much longer business trip that did took a lot out of him. Then the news plays of a murder happening within their town, a new one that happened to lind up with his fathers arrival.

My first entry for the Blumhouse writing challenge. I am unsure if I am going to write another entry, so this is all I have for now. I consider myself to be a novice writer, and if anyone who reads this could give some criticism that would be great (I have little experience writing and I would like tips if you're reading this)!
