Songs from all our favorite bands... but in the style of Shakespearean sonnets! (Well, to the best of my ability lol. Despite my username, I do not claim to be a Shakespeare expert). Last year in school, we had the option to write a sonnet based on a modern-day song (as inspired by poet Erik Didriksen, who essentially pioneered the concept of pop sonnets) for extra credit. So, I wrote two! Figured I'd put them here (I'll likely write more in the future). Obligatory disclaimer: I do not take any credit for the songs that I am basing these sonnets off of.

As the four of them leave their old lives behind, they reflect upon what they've been through in order to become who they need to be, learning some of one another's dark secrets along the way.

Frank had been a butler for the Way family for a couple years now. His original plan after high school was to open his own tattoo parlor and be a piercer and a tattoo artist. However, things never exactly worked out for Frank. His father passed away and he had to drop his dreams to look for a job that paid enough for him to take care of his little sister and mother. The first two years was calm and full of serenity. Mrs.Way and her son Michael Way weren't very problematic. Although, all of that tranquility went away when her son Gerard moved into the household after taking a brief break from his crazy lifestyle. From the moment Frank and Gerard first locked eyes, Frank knew trouble was Gerard's middle name.

Rain wasn't about to let herself not take down the monarchy. She couldn't, for the life of her and all those fallen, turn back. She had to avenge them. This story is entirely my idea and concept. So these are little short stories that I'm going to write because I'm not good at writing books. So I've taken some prompts from Pinterest. I'll try and do one each week if I remember.
