Soon she was talking to him, watching the shows they watched together, fixing him a plate at dinner, even buying his favorite foods and cooking them for dinner. She claimed he was there, that she was talking to him. But Ember knew he wasn't, playing along with it so she could see her mother happy. But as time passed, it got more serious, and Ember couldn't take it anymore. She lashed out at her mother, telling her that she was insane for thinking that her father was ever coming back. That was until she started seeing him too.
