Uhhh you have to read to find out cuz this is my first time writing a book. Plz comment some more ideas so i can hopefully create more books in the near future.

The air was tense, so tight that one slice from even the dullest blade could cut it without effort. Wei Wuxian, tears in his eyes, looked her over carefully. "Who are you, really?" He forced out through clenched teeth. Xiaoying found it hard to maintain eye contact with him, but she held her ground well as she in return stared him down. "You want to know who I really am?" She responded, letting out a dry laugh, trying to hold back her own sadness from showing on the surface. All her life she had to hide, to mask, to keep herself secret. It was, in fact, her mother's dying wish. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Wei Ying, Wei Wuxian, the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, the Yiling Patriarch, was alone for the first few years of his life. His mother and father killed during a night hunt, he was left to the streets, fighting dogs for food, accepted into a clan he called home only to be slain by a sworn brother, to lose a sworn sister, to lose everyone he called family and in the end be blamed for it. Wei Xiaoying, hiding under the false name Wen Xiaoyi, was a cultivator hiding within the Wen Sect as their presiding Battalion Commander. She had a hunger to do what was right for the good of those around her unable to defend themselves, trying to live honorably through her parents she never got to meet - she was all alone in life. She was alone, until one day she was accepted. He was blamed, until one day he was understood. A brother. A sister. Reunited. This is that story.

Wei Ying had long ago mastered a dark art. One which, should any fond out, would put a target on his back. When the Jiang's took him in, he made sure that it was never used in their presence. He already got enough hate as it were without them knowing he could literally destroy everything they held dear with a mere whistle. Everything was fine, until he was forced to go to the Cloud Recesses with Jiang Cheng. That was when complications arose. After all, how could he keep things hidden from the Two Jades of Lan? Especially after the disaster one night, which ended in him hiding from Jiang Cheng. Notes *Jiang Cheng has a really bad temper, and I don't think they showed a realistic ideal with how short tempered he is, so he isn't bad, but he does get violent *In this, Wei Ying already entered the burial mounds before the Jiangs collected him. It will be explained in detail later. *Wei Ying has some problems. these are things not well addressed in either the book or the live action, and I will be addressing them here. So I would like to say this will likely contain triggering stuff. please be careful.

Wei Wuxian has been gone missing for sixteen years, and the wens still haven't been defeated yet. While Jiang Cheng has been busy secretly building his clan back together again, finding wei wuxian is his top priority.

This story is a romance about Wen Xu and Jiang Ying.

Summary: The story follows A-Ying, a young boy who crosses a barrier into a land filled with the dead, where he encounters the spirits and the cursed forces that inhabit the mountains. Initially, A-Ying is embraced by the spirits and the cursed Yin forces, who bond with him as he carries a special energy within him, the Yin Iron. Over time, he grows stronger and more attuned to the land's energies, but he must prove himself and endure trials to truly control and understand the power within him. As A-Ying matures, he returns to the mountains as a young man, now named Wen Wuxian. He carries with him the energy of the Yin Iron and a flute forged from the land's bamboo. Through his music, he communicates with the dead, purging the lingering resentment and freeing the spirits that have been trapped for centuries. However, Wen Wuxian's return is marked by a shift in the balance-the Yin Iron is no longer the same, and instead of immediately playing his flute, Wen Wuxian speaks to the dead, offering a repayment of a debt he owes them. In the end, his music brings release to the spirits, and they are freed from their torment, bound to him for all eternity.

It is a tradition repeated every year. A disciple or even the heir would be chosen from the sect and they and the other four sects have to find them. It is a play where one attempts to catch traitors or those who have committed big crimes. The tar- ahem, the 'chosen one' will receive something that will help him from getting caught. "Mother, I think this will last till next year." "For all that that Wei Wuxian is good for I didn't think that he could be so quiet to stay under our noses without us even hearing him snicker." "I'm getting even more curious about what Wei-xiong received to help him." The game lasts so long that the sect leaders begin to get involved.
