When Wednesday returned to Nevermore after the leave they were given on account of the battle, she found she saw her roommate and best friend, Enid, in a completely different light. She, herself, was new to these feelings that had overtaken her. Enid, too, experienced new things over the holidays. Not all good, and it had affected her greatly. Could Wednesday break out of her shell to be close enough to Enid to help her? And, did Enid share the same feelings as Wednesday?

The Nevermore students are back at school for another year. Wednesday has developed an uncomfortable feeling that for once she doesn't enjoy. She believes it has something to do with her bubbly roommate Enid Sinclair. She believes she has been cursed by Enid to make her not only tolerate a hug but enjoy one. With a new suspicious principal, anything could happen! (Set after s1 because I didn't want to follow the s2 ending trope!!) But of course the gods are always looking after her and the girl begins to move her cart filled to the brim with different books- TOWARDS HER.
