Joanie never thought she'd return to Blackwood Mountain. Not after what happened last year. But when Josh invites the group back to honor his sisters' memory, she agrees. And that's when the academic rivalry began between Zerielle and Zeke. Zeke has always been a consistent 1st honor in their university and has been competing with the other schools for years until zerielle was accepted to the university. Since then, zeke and zerielle have been competing to be the 1st honor,and they've always been chosen as a partner to compete with the other school.
