Charlotte wasn't sure what she was expecting Alaska to be like. But even in her wildest dreams she knew this was not it. Charlotte White knew she had to leave. This wasn't love, but when you've only loved one person your whole life it's a little harder to admit that bruised writs and bloody eyes weren't okay. This wasn't how a mate should be treated. Sure she was human and didn't really understand what it meant to be an Alphas mate, but she wasn't blind and could see none of the other females in the pack seemed to be hiding freshly wounded skin. When answers are discovered and lies uncovered Charlotte wasted no time in getting out of there.
