Every one in the world of Eirilia is either a demon or a were creature. The two species have suttle differences and usually don't mind each other. But as family ties and unfulfilled promises get in the way of their relationship....will Gia be able to keep it, and stay away from the so called assassin that was tracking her?

Oscar Levante is a writer living in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1941. Or, at least, that's what he wants to be. Right now, he works under a pseudonym for a pulp novel company churning out novels as fast as they can pay him, all the while working on his magnum opus - a true noir detective story. One night while out with his friends, he meets a real PI named Theodore Durand, who tells Oscar that he doesn't know the first thing about what a real PI does. This is a were-creature roleplay. Each were creature has been separated into four different rankings, based on what their species was good at. There has been some turmoil over this idea-which has been in place for a few hundred years- because some of the were-creatures want to have different jobs but are unable to. Are you going to be a rebel? Or are you going to succumb to the tribe's rules.
