Years after May's trek through the Hell Forest, hunters are summoned to her village to hunt down another creature. However, on this peculiar job, they find out that not all is as it seems in this quiet village.

A Hitman learns that myths are real and sets out to kill the mythical beasts to rid the world of their wrath.

Finally she's had enough and runs away with her brother and sister with only four months until her eighteenth birthday. Now in a new town and new school. Alana's on her guard. She doesn't trust anybody. Especially men. Then she meets Jasper. He won't leave her alone no matter how bitchy she is to him. He's also keeping a secret. It's obvious he isn't normal. Neither is his family. Why is he so interested in her? Why won't he leave her alone? Can she trust him? Will she finally be free?

While Kuda wants to strangle him three quarters of the time, she is inexplicably drawn to him. I've kind of been reading more monster stories lately and thought "oh this could be fun if I wrote one shots." Simply for fun if you love these things that spook in the night.

Three years before the "Mystery of the Olko beads," story, a great famine hits the Yakunko lands claiming all food crops except for the "Unnu'(sunflower) crop!
