I was a few minutes down the road, taking a short cut. And that's when I heard it. A blood curdling scream rang through the night. Screams weren't usually alarming in the city, but the manner of this scream was. I payed no mind to it though, and continued walking. I stopped in my tracks, looking down an alley.
