I breathe in deeply, consuming this scent. Shaking my head, I reach the rogue's cell and notice this combination belonged to him. The rogue shot his head up as I muttered one word quietly, not loud enough for him to hear. "Mate" I mumbled lowly under my breath, advancing inside the cell very slowly. I stared at his terrified blue eyes as I inch closer to him. His figure only became clearer. Ivy's mother died by giving birth to the newest additions, but even they didn't make it. Ivy's father died months after from an illness caused by the death of his mate. For those three years, she had to learn to grow out of her grief to lead the back.
