This story is based on a roleplay about Brokeback Mountain that I've been doing with a friend for a few months. All credit for the characters goes to the author of the book, but the story and writing were entirely done by us. This book aims to be a reinterpretation of what's seen in the movies, altering the way events unfold. It can be viewed as an alternative story where the characters are rewritten slightly differently, reflecting how we perceive them. The narrative structure may vary throughout the chapters since this originally started as a roleplay rather than a story written by a single person. Nora ended up on the Young Justice Team, comprised of two well trained young humans, a martian, a Kryptonian clone, a metahuman speedster, and an atlantean. She didn't exactly fit in, but she was a noble and loyal shinobi. So she stayed without complaint. Not that many people would be able to understand her if she did complain. And once again, she's thrown into the fight to keep the people closest to her safe and protected, but also at a considerable distance. And its not a fight easily won.
