Walking away can be the hardest thing, but sometimes it turns out to be the most incredible and beautiful journey. Sometimes people don't run away out of choice, they have to leave, ending one chapter in their lives and turning the page to a whole new one. I know it sounds cliched and all but that turn of a page is the best thing that's happened to me and I'll tell you what - when I began this new chapter and you barged your way in? I could tell that story was either going to end spectacularly or go down in flames. All credit to Calvin Eason for the cover.

Two years ago I was involved in a surfing incident that changed me. It changed my perspective on life. It changed who I was and who I was set to be. I told myself I would never return to the ocean. That I would never touch a surfboard or even have a desire to surf. Little did I know, three people would be able to change that

Hi! My name is Edward and I'd like to tell you a story. No ordinary, boring grown-up type story, but a story about the time I became the greatest ten year old scientist in the history of the world! All I really wanted was to solve our family's burglarproblem and with my trusty pet mouse Squiggles by my side, how could I possibly fail? You see, our town house was constantly being burgled by partners in crime, Bruce and Bazza. There seemed to be no stop to them. So I decided to do something about it! No animals were harmed during the making of this book. Written by Joel Hart Illustrated by Melissa Daw Published by Watch Mouse Publishing. Perth, WA, Australia

Hi! My name is Joseph and I'd like to tell you a story. No ordinary, boring grown-up type story, but a story about my time in Year Five. Sure, I know what you're thinking. What's so special about Year Five? Under normal circumstances, I'd agree. However, if I told you that this story was about a magical talking miniature moose that came from Canada to live with my family, then maybe, just maybe you'd be interested. This story, although humorous in sections, has a strong anti-bullying theme. Remember, if you're being bullied at school, you don't have to put up with it. Tell your teacher, your family or friends. No animals were harmed during the making of this book. Written by Joel Hart Illustrated by Melissa Daw Published by Watch Mouse Publishing. Perth, WA, Australia.

"What the hell do you think your doing?!" I shouted at the stranger crouched down in front of me with his back to me, I raised the rifle in my hands. "Umm it's a long story." The stranger said, but for some reason I think I recognised that voice, "Well guess what, I gotta gun and I ain't afraid to use it so how bout you start talkin'!" I snapped, slightly terrified of this person, the stranger sighed. "Jesus Christ partner, I never new you lived on a farm let alone knew how to shoot a gun, could've told me that a little earlier, would've saved me a lot of trouble." The stranger muttered almost to himself before raising his hand and slowly turned around. When I finally got a good look at the person, I gasped and - Arianna-Jacqueline otherwise known as AJ or Ari is a strong willed *cough* stubborn *cough* quiet little genius, she may be a little country bumpkin but she is the loyalist friend you'll ever have. And she's only got one of those things you call friends and that's Devon Jacobson. He's the type of guy you'd find in the popular group he's just got that energy around him that makes everyone like him but he only cares about AJ or does he? Is he just slumming it with her to piss of his parents? ok I know this sounds like a lovey dovey kinda book but I'm trying to make it not as lovey dovey as it sounds.... but I dunno how it's gonna turn out so please just give it a go, I hope you enjoy it...
