In a London café in the summer of 1914, James and Darien sit in silence. The world is about to burst into flames and change the course of history forever. Because they are both eighteen years old, they are certain they will be sent to the front and perhaps forever separated from each other. So before that happens, Darien proposes to James and together they make a promise that if the world splits their joined souls apart, they will meet again here in the same café after the war is over.

Its the year 1917 and a young woman named Adelheid is on a bus heading to 23rd regiment, most German school girls from 15-18 an were sent to dance with the Soldiers of the Great War some nights, she seethes with anger at the thought of helping these brainwashed boys. Until she finds a man named Paul Baumer, he speaks of the war in a fierce and romanticized tone. She sees how blindly he was thrown into it and try's to help him, but slowly as she gets to know him more she starts to fall in love... *DISCLAIMER, THIS IS NOT MADE TO ROMANTICIZE WAR! I WOULD NEVER DO THAT, ITS SICK!!! Plus I know the Western Front is in France so no way would German girls be sent to dance with the German Soldiers but who cares, deal with it. Marie and Raymond are very close siblings from a high ranked and respectable french family. When Marie's brother Raymond is drafted into the war, she decides it is her duty as a trained nurse to join the war effort as well, and volunteers to be a nurse at the place her brother will be serving his country: The Western Front. She will be working at a field hospital just behind the line.

A teenage boy was visiting his grandfather who he barely knows about him. When he arrived he asked if he can search in the Attic for anything that could be sold in his own yard sale in hopes of getting enough money to buy a new tank in which his grandfather said yes but only if he has the final say on which stuff that could be sold. After he enter the attic he noticed a photo in which in it was a group of boys and girls together but what really caught his eye was the fact that in the background behind all the boys and girls was tanks marked in the old mark of the school Kuromorimine in which they were defeat during the World war II the second in which he started to look more closely on the photo and noticed a signature on the back that looks like his grandfather hand writing so he came downstairs with the photo to asked him a question about this photo.

THIS IS NOT POLITICAL. I understand that this can be a controversial subject, thus is why I will TRY not to offend any by accident. I will see how this plays out and maybe I'll add to it. This will be a collection of short war stories from different perspectives in different time periods of World War II and on varying fronts. I may try to avoid some of the perspectives to avoid offending anyone with my lack of cultural knowledge of some of these countries. Anyway I hope you enjoy.
