He's always had that child-like carefreeness. But now, 10 years after the death of his dad, he has to grow up and take care of his little sister, so she can have someone stable to lean on. "No!" I cried as I watched her throw herself off the bridge outside the hospital. Two cities over from where we grew up. I knew when I looked over the edge she was gone, and we weren't getting her back.
