This is a short story of 3 girls who I considered to be my "Bestfriends" but instead they taught me life lessons. Those lessons are part of the reason why I'm cold-hearted today. Not everyone will stick around.

Derrick Daniels, a 16-year-old high school sophomore moves to West Palm Beach because of his mother's new job. The city of West Palm Beach is going through a terrible time. Two major gang nations are created during the summer and a bitter rivalry gets started as a result. Derrick goes through his new situation making friends and enemies. Can he and his new friends stay away from this or will he become the product of where he lives?

Malia is a normal girl that lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. She lives with her mom and aunt May. She goes to Royal Palm Beach High School and has amazing friends. Everything is perfect. One day Malia decides to go camping on an island near by with three big mountains. She discovers a cave in one and decided to explore. What will happen when Malia unexpectedly falls into a underwater pool of water. What will happen to her when she sees two guys with....wait-what!
