She was a shell of a person for the longest time. Until she met him. Now she has to figure out if letting a certain red-haired guitarist in is worth losing everything she's ever known. Michael Clifford doesn't expect to fall for his opening act. Hell, all he wanted was to enjoy his big tour with no drama, except that's exactly what happens. With no choice but to insert himself into a dark situation involving Savannah and her boyfriend, Mason, Michael is left feeling the effects of not only the attack on his friend, but on his heart. Set in the mountains of West Virginia

Ol' Red is a bit of folklore. It's the kind of story parents tell to their children to make sure they don't go near the water before they learn how to swim. Maybe it's true. Maybe it's a lie, but the goal behind it is to keep the children safe. Like all good stories, this one features a monster. The tale is about a boy named Michael who decided that he no longer believed in those 'baby stories' and the consequences of that decision.

Chloe Wilson is a 14 year old teenager, that doesn't make good choices, at home, or at school. She has a bad attitude, is disrespectful towards her parents, and gets sent to the principal's office in school, quite frequently. And she has a hate hate relationship with her grandmother, that lives with her. Chloe is your typical troubled teen. Can she change her behavior, or will she always make bad choices?

The night is dark. There's no moon, no stars. We rush through the thicket of the woods. The sound we hear is the pounding of our running feet. We run into low hanging branches, fighting against them until we stumble until a clearing. My partner grabs my arm and leads me down another path. "Wait! Where are the others?" I shake my arm from their grasp. "Where are they?" There was a stillness to the dark woods. The type of stillness that holds danger within its shadows. "They'll be fine!" I get pulled back down the path that I was being led to anyhow. "They know what to do. They won't find us if we stay separated." I ran alongside my hidden pair. The moon is at its peak at night. It shows us the way. "It's not him I am worried about, Sunistral. It's her." I hear a sharp breath behind us. I swear it was! But it was disguised as a searing gust of cold wind. When I looked back, there was nothing. Just an endless pit of darkness. It was then that I knew that it had found us. This dream somehow finds me ever night. And every night I wake up in absolute confusion. I have no memory of my parents or where I came from. The only true constant of my existence is the visits that my nightmares make at night and during the day. I have yet to understand the echos of them. Until I find myself where it all began: at Pearl Academy.
