some 90's, some new music

uh don't judge me (I highly doubt you will since this is Wattpad) me and my brother wrote this when we were bored. it's pretty short, just a Tff/Wham!/Saw crossover.

'It Doesn't Surprise Me' is a short story I first wrote and finished in 2010. It owes a massive debt to 'Last Christmas' by Wham!, one of my favourite songs - either in the original version or with one of the many cover versions of it.

Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, more commonly known as George Michael, the other half of the pop duo Wham! was living a dream. With the major success of Careless Whisper and Wake me up Before You Go Go, his life had only gotten better. With his new wife, Deb, everything was going like a dream. Or so it seemed until one day his world was tipped upside down. Was Andy right about her? A big thanks to my bestie @whamjackson for helping me sort my ideas out and being my editor!! 😊❤️ Just an FYI, this isn't going in the actual order of the songs being released. I'll try my best to get the order right, but it has to fit the story. This is after the Fantastic album, but before Make it Big. I guess this is how this whole idea originally came to me, this was written before I changed the first chapter: Ok, so I was just lying in my bed last night, and this whole fanfic came into my mind.... so hopefully this turns out ok, and I actually finish it 😂

Jess wears all black, finds herself in a constant state of anxiety, and hopes to continue living invisibly in her second year of high school. She lacks confidence, so finds it in the characters of her stories. Jess has been denied emotional support all her life, so obviously finds it most comforting to depend on herself and be independent. This is until she meets Brian, a boy in her English class. Though she claims to have never seen him, he has indeed met her. Deprived of friendships for so long, Jess is unfamiliar in meeting a person who genuinely cares for her needs. The story takes you through the life of a depressed teenager, who finds someone to get her past the brutal high school years.

Chuck is excited to start a new life with his long time best friend and partner, Whammer! However, his mother is hesitant to this change and is greatly disappointed in her son for his "poor" decision. After moving in with Whammer, Chuck decides that Whammer is his safe place and that his mother isn't deserving of his presence. Will Chuck's mind change overtime as he grows more apart from his mom?
