Close Friend to Strangers.

This poem explores the aftermath of losing a cherished relationship-the heartbreaking reality of being stuck waiting and accepting that love will never return. The poem depicts the author's incapability of healing even after time seems to take away valued memories. The author creates vivid images of her own grief as she lists her own dreams of what could've been while accepting that it will no longer be.

He never touched you like he meant it, but he haunted you like he owned you. This isn't a love story. It's a ghost story. A soft horror, told in five acts: the apparition, the seduction, the decline, the haunting, and finally... the exorcism. The Ghost of You is a lyrical breakdown of breadcrumbing, spiritual betrayal, and emotional erasure. It's about a girl who mistook ambiguity for affection and silence for safety... and the haunting that followed when the boy who "never meant to hurt her" became the ghost she couldn't forget. This is for the girls who were never chosen, only clung to. For the ones who lit candles for people who never stayed. For the soft, strong souls who keep rising anyway.

This is just a collection of stories I started, but never finished. They will stay here until I get the proper motivation to continue them, and I feel like it would be good to gain some constructive criticism on them. Note: I hate adding Authors notes but I feel like the next chapter I post will need one and to whom ever actually puts up with my semi-tolerable writing style I'm warning you that there will be one that is important to read in relations to the chapter 'To Become "Invictus"'. Dont skip it.
