Jamie Cooper is in her final year of college. She has no boyfriend and does not party because she wants to focus on school. Her dad tells her that he has no money left to help her pay for college, she cant take out any more loans, and her job and work study wont help her at all. Planning to drop out, she is surprised when she gets a phone call from a mysterious man who claims he can help her. He will pay for her college if she agrees to follow his rules. Knowing it will probably cost more than her following rules, rules of which most are unspecified, she refuses. A manila envelope comes to her dorm room as she starts packing. She opens it and finds a contract inside. It says that the man will pay for the rest of her college and all her outstanding debts, no matter the amount.
