And nobody's past is more covered in blood and regret than Ray's. P.S. This is for people who want a nice fantasy story to read. I would love to have this story published one day, but I'm putting it on Wattpad to see if anyone would actually read it. This is my first book so I would love feedback in the comments.

They were best friends in middle school. Inseparable by high school. But when Alex Russo left the country to go back to his hometown to pursue his 'family business', like all friendships, they drifted apart. Until one day, it all came back when Alyse Rose, at 22, attended a blind date set up by her friend, only to find out it was Alex Russo. Now the head of the Russo Mafia, with only one condition: he must marry someone, for at least a year. Alex had worked hard to become the head of the Russo Mafia. Perfecting shots at 15, and hand to hand combat by 13, he had learned to never show emotion, or any kind of weakness around anyone, lessons learned from experience and his father's teachings. Alex convinced himself he didn't need love. It was a weakness to him. But after years of pushing away, he found his weakness in a girl he had not seen for a long time. Alyse had completed her studies, and eventually, university. She then lived her days doing what she loved most: writing, reading and doomscrolling on her phone for 'ideas', for an unhealthy amount of time. But writing so many romance novels was starting to affect her. It made her need to find love grow. And she did. Just, not in the way she expected. In her childhood best friend.

Some world are not meant to cross each other, hence why they're parallel worlds. But what if a bend was made to meet another? There can and will be something new, but it doesn't mean it's a good idea to bring things over which never originally existed from unknown places. Granite, a current mercenary and her partner Claire are hired to protect the workers of questionable ethics when trying to connect worlds together. But when tears and foreign elements enter their world their jobs get a whole lot more complicated, not only from what crosses over, but from the people of their world. Cover is not mine in any way.
