When two teenagers who unknowingly attend the same school in New York City meet at a party they discover they have much more in common than they first thought. Through the tragedy and abuse of their home lives they fall in love, grow closer together, and ultimately keep each other alive.

Sammy Hill suffers from social anxiety. She fears being constantly judged for her opinion. She rarely speaks to her teachers, resulting in poor grades in all of her classes. Other teens give her a hard time for her lack of speech, often calling her a "mute" or an "attention seeker." The only way she feels comfortable speaking to another human is through online chat rooms, where she talks to people with similar interests that also have a hard time speaking their thoughts. In hope for a passing grade on her Algebra exam, she seeks help on an online math site. A smile appeared on her lips when she found a chat room. This is where she met him. Nymyxell: Why aren't you out showing your talent to colleges?" He typed back immediately. Giso123: Colleges don't like kids like me. Nymyxell: Kids like you? You're practically a genius! Giso123: I have disadvantages. Nymyxell: Disadvantages? So you're just going to sit on this website and help people with math? Giso123: Yeah, I would be helping out someone, something I can't really do in person. That night he logged off at 8:47PM. She was definitely interested in the boy. He was.... different. Later, she would find out just how different he was.

I really wanted this "blog" to be kinda a way to vent to someone and i hope i can kinda help you through stuff in the process by sharing some personal stories that are going on with my life. this isn't supposed to be some depression reliever or some site people can mentally break down on, i mean, hey if you need to use the site in that sense than go ahead but i just know that teenagers are going through a lot between school and home and relationships that it can be extremely stressful. my goal is to just help people through tough times and keep this site as positive as it can be with the help of y'all of course. so basically all you have to do is message me a story that you would just like to share or a recommendation or something you need advice on and i hope yall like it and comment your thoughts on each of the blogs.

"There's all kinds of magic KC, the type that fixes you up no matter how many times you fall, the type that gives you an edge over other people in a competition, there are so many types" She explains grating the okro fingerlings lazily. I ponder on what she has said for a long while before finally speaking up "What's your magic?" "I can't tell you" she replies, giving me a wink "Can't or won't?" I push feeling strangely deflated "Oh, so you're a grown up now eh? trying to play smart and what not" she counters, still smiling. "You don't have to tell me, I know it already, its pretty easy to tell" I assure her shrugging, knowing it's a bluff, but she doesn't need to know that. "Mhmmmn" "What's my magic going to be?" I ask, drawing my stool closer to where she's sitting in the dimly lit kitchen. I take over the grating from her as she turns her attention to the pot on the stove. She cranes her neck around to look at me, her brown eyes big and full of knowledge, but the answer she gives shocks me dumb. "I don't know KC, I guess you'll have to find that out for yourself"

*************************************************** "What's your story?" He turned his head and looked at me, confused. I pointed to his eye. "The shiner?" He laughed and shrugged. "Some people can't take a joke." I smiled, then quickly looked away and back at my hands. He poked my shoulder gently. "What about you? What's your story?" I looked at the I.V still attached to my arm. I sighed and responded: "I'm still asking myself that same question." *************************************************** Imagine living your entire life in a hospital. That was Lyra's reality. She's been through every treatment plan imaginable for her disease. But it's just delaying the inevitable. Her disease is terminal. There's no hope. ...or so she thought. Follow the story a strong young woman battling a merciless disease as she meets a young, rich, up-and-coming boy who just might change her perspective on life...and maybe her heart. ---- This story is my own work.
