Y/n has been a test subject for Aperture a very long time, but has been asleep for most of it. She has been woken up for testing once again, this time being accompanied by a pretty funny and dorky human-like intelligence dampening sphere named Wheatley. As the two continue their journey through Aperture, Y/n has grown fond of Wheatley. Does Wheatley feel the same?

(Wheatley x reader) Human test subjects had been phased out by Aperture long time ago due to "Humanitarian reasons". Since the tests require human subjects, Aperture had been developing a humanoid android that was capable of performing as a substitute for real people and provide valid data for the sake of science. (Y/n) was a personality core transferred into the latest HumAlt model before everything went to shit. (Hey! A portal 2 fanfic in 2021, who would've thought? *this is going to be a humanoid!Wheatley one, im sorry to disappoint core!Wheatley lovers :>)

Your room is lit by a single monitor, it's blue light seeping into the shadows, the still quiet broken by soft humming of a pc whirring away in the corner, and the occasional click, tap, click of a keyboard and mouse. It's late, but you decide to load up your favourite game, Portal 2, despite having played it many, many times before. You've always loved this game.. but this time, something feels off.

Y/N is a 18 year old high school student in their Senior year, they going into the woods to take care of a small garden she found. However, one day they found a strange crater type hole near the garden, with a strange orb inside. Seeing how such small amount of fanfics are here about Portal 2, I've decided to take matters into my own hands,😼

‼️[CURRENTLY UNDER A REWRITE]‼ It's another boring day at Aperture for the little Wheatley core. As he patrols the subject's sleeping quarters, he bumps into two unlikely test subjects. One, an old friend, and the other, someone entirely new. It's his job to tour the two around Aperture and assist them in their testing, but who knows? Perhaps he will become more than just a tour guide Portal 2 and all its contents belong to Valve. None of the characters are mine unless specified.

Being used as a test-subject for Wheatley's puzzles, Sometimes completing a chamber can be difficult. I wrote this for fun and it's my first fanfic in a *while* so don't hate it too much lmao. Anyways, he/him pronouns are used in this fic so beware of that. i'm also basing this a tiny bit off of Blue Sky but you don't need to read it to understand this. ANYWAYS!!- this is just a soft lil scenario i imagined. (also i'm a proud orb fucker and it will not be long until i write smut so give me ideas if you want 😍)
