A short poem about avoiding traditional funeral arrangements and choosing to be closer to nature.

Published in full October 31 Just wanted to try a new cover. I have been working on a lot for this book. "When I die I don't want to be forgotten. I want to leave a mark on your heart. A mark on the world. I want to be remembered." Tori has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). Having the heart disease her whole life, making every day a hard one, has gotten worse as she got older. Now at 18, she has just been confirmed that she is dying from HCM because the walls in her heart are increasingly thick. Way thicker than they should be. With only months left in her life, she has lost all hope and has gotten depressed. That was until she met Jared, the new guy on the block. Throughout their forming relationship, Jared restores her hope and her depression subsides. But as her condition gets worst, their relationship is on the lines and Jared learns that the lasting moments they have together are the ones they have to cherish most of all. Dedicated In Loving Memory Of Ben Breedlove (1993-2011) and Caleb Logan Braytayley who passed away early in October 2015 from an undiagnosis for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
