Such an innocuous question had led Cheong-seob here to this moment, standing in the swirling snow outside a small seafood restaurant, questioning his lifelong, self-imposed identity as a principled man. - Author's Note: Every moment of When Life Gives You Tangerines was so perfectly written and deeply touching. But the one scene that lives rent-free in my mind is when Cheong-seob stumbled into the restaurant with that high-pitched 'abeoniiiim!' It was a real laugh out loud moment for me. I just had to write down this short fic. I hope you enjoy spending the extra time with this couple as much I did!
