Hi! So I was kinda bored one day and decided that I would rank some Ghibli movies because I watch a lot of them these days :) Just for a little context, I watched all of them in Japanese with English subtitles (the English voices sound a bit weird to me once I watch the Japanese ones). I do understand everything that happens If you want to talk to me about Ghibli movies or anything, please message (I don't know if it's called message but you know the thing when you click on someone's profile and announce [?] something) me!!! Also, I haven't watched all of the Ghibli movies, so they all won't be included (I'll tell you which ones in the first chapter) Feel free to comment your opinions in the chat/comments/whatever they are :)

Inspired by Encanto and Studio Ghilbi's when Marnie was there. A Modern AU. I don't own Encanto characters and studio Ghibli all rightfully belongs to disney and studio ghilbi Mirabel is an introverted 15-year-old girl living with her parents in the city, Julieta and her husband Augustin. She believes that there is an invisible magic circle in the world and that she is on the outside away from everyone else. One day at school, she collapses from an asthma attack and Julieta with her experience as a nurse wants to help Mirabel with her new withdrawn attitude as she no longer smiles or talks about her friends at school. It is probably because she works so hard and so Augustin is mostly the one raising her, Mirabel was being hard on herself over something or etc. So she recommends that Mirabel to spend the summer with her Tia Pepa and Tio Felix, in the small town where they grew up away from the city for health reasons, to also stay with her cousins and sisters, she discovered and old beautiful house, there she meets an unlikely mysterious friend a young woman named Alma who asked Mirabel to promise to keep their secrets from everyone. The two instantly bond that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. As the friendship unravels Alma has closer ties to Mirabel than we might expect, with twists, backstories and much more along the way. What's going on? Why is Mirabel acting like this? inspired by ghibli studios' "when marnie was there" by hayao miyazaki - maya hart, adopted at a young age, feels like life is pointless. no one loves her, not even herself. feeling like her 'family' doesn't love her, she was sent to her relatives' home in new york. one day, she discovers a house with a bay window. that was where she meets a girl who changed her life forever. what happens when that girl mysteriously disappears? maya finds out a secret that will reveal everything about her real family.

Gay girls spending the summer together in the countryside of Meddlebay, away from the busy city of Cruzcaster.

Anna Sasaki moves into the castle of Howl Pendragon and has a series of adventures with her new friends oddly similar to those from a certain show about techinicolor horses, because the author thinks it's a good idea to put characters from a respected Japanese studio into the plots of that show. Marvel at how flatly the characters are written, assuming they're written in character to begin with and gawk at the unfitting casting choices.
