The sun's shining. Its summer already. The 5th summer without him. 5 years, huh? Its been five years since he left. 5 years since that night. Sometimes i wonder if it was just a dream. Just a fragment of bittersweet imagination that my mind made up. A long scar in my inner left thigh, is the only thing that tells me, what happened five years ago was real. He is real. And this is my story. My untold story that i've kept it from others. Because saying it out loud, makes it seem like it wasn't real. I'm afraid that it might not be, so i dont tell anyone. Everything is coated in shadow in the room. Rubbing my eyes trying to get them to see through the lack of light I find my phone. The battery is running out but it gives me enough time to find the pull chord for the light. I blink rapidly adjusting to the new brightness filling the space. There are crates stacked in the corner and an old turn dial phone with a plug running under a door covered in locks. The only window is a slit in the door that seems to have been painted black or covered by something on the other side. I look to the bottom of the door and see a trail of blood. Following it with my eyes I see the trail ends at me. Looking down for the first time the shock wears off when i see the gashes across my stomach. I am bleeding out.
