I wanted to be in the military. I always have been. My dad was a veteran and he'd always told me to follow my dreams. Dreams made up my hope, my personality, and... overall, me. But when they are crushed, it feels like the world has come to its end. I had a dream once. Arthur Hastings was a part of that dream. What I have only recently realize is that most dreams just don't come true. No matter how often you imagine them to.

LUCY In all honesty, I want to run away. Because first of all, this situation is insane; I don't remember having done anything to get to this. This wasn't how I'd envisioned my life trajectory to go.
