Whimper Stories

A dark figure is walking towards us through the haze. I ignore it and let Ryan pull me to the ocean. As the figure gets closer, I can tell its a grown man. I stop abruptly and Ryan stumbles, almost falling in the water. He turns to me with concern and quietly asks, "what's wrong?" I shake my head, but don't take my eyes off of the figure. "It's nothing. Sorry, I thought I saw something." I say distantly. Ryan follows my gaze and steps closer to me, wrapping his arm around my waist protectively. "Oh. I didn't see him. Do you want to go back to Amy's before he gets here?" He asks. I shake my head. "No, I'm just making a big deal out of nothing. He'll pass without a second glance." He doesn't let go of me as he leads me out of the ocean. Together we sit down and I lean my head on his shoulder. I look and see the man is a lot closer. I do a double take. For a moment, I thought he looked familiar. I brush it off but scoot closer to Ryan. Noticing, he whispers "are you sure you don't want to go inside?" I shake my head again but hesitate a little. I close my eyes and feel Ryan lean his head on mine. The soft footsteps of the man sound only a few feet from us. I open my eyes and feel Ryan's head shoot up. Who I saw before was no mistake. Maggie is in danger. Her mother is dead, her father is an abusive alcoholic and she might be falling in love. Stuck in her own personal hell, Maggie is constantly afraid. She tries to focus on just getting by day by day, until her father does the unthinkable and unforgivable. Will she be able to make it out alive?

Margo Farkus hits a wolf one night on her way home from work. As a vet tech and an animal lover Margo cannot leave the wounded animal behind. So she loads the wolf into her pick up and takes him home. For weeks she tends to the beast and befriends the noble creature. Then one day to her utter astonishment when she goes to care for the wolf in the stall where she left him is a man. He explains that he is a werewolf and oddly enough she is his mate. The then asks her to give him a chance, the only drawback; he is the weakest of the weak. He is the omega. Will she accept this man for who he is or will she shun him like everyone else? Read and find out.

I will be writing and adding to this ocassionally, no set plans as of yet just writing down what i think of off a whim or feel should be written down :) Feedback is always welcome as i have not really studied or researched how you are meant to do poetry so im kind of just winging it!

Ianis has called it a quits to being in a relationship! But it seems that her lover has resided against her independence. What will he do? How will she handle it? And why doesn't anyone know what has happened to Ianis after she had left for the weekend and came back?! One thing is for sure, there is silent cutie who knows how to push her buttons. An introduction to a series of chapter I'm going to be writing about a pack of people that can become wolves.

If you could express all of you in a simple 17-syllable phrase, would it sound like these? All your emotions, your heartbeats, your insecurities, philosophies and so much more. No need for long explanations or numerous words to describe them. This is my attempt at writing haiku. I hope they can be categorized as 'haiku'.

Previously: Stay- Don't leave me- not with her Ashley has always been.. distant. Sara was a non-believer. Alyssa was always insane; she wanted to get rid of them. So she escaped from the asylumn. They were a disease. A scurge. She wanted a perfect world. One death at a time.
