In an attempt to please her mother, Lady Gabrielle Hainsley has just begun the debutante Season at Feugholt castle. The competition is stiff, but perhaps she can find a few friends in the frenzy of debutantes and noblemen. That is, if she can live long enough. Meanwhile, a mysterious vigilante has taken the city by storm. Is she a threat, or the most valuable asset Captain Gillan Roberts could have hoped for? And what is her connection to the debutantes that grace the castle's halls? *** Inspired by MissKatey's Season series (read the first one, immediately wrote the first five chapters of this). My oc has always been a redhead as well, but feel free to point out if I got too close to her ideas! I've done my own research to help with the setting. This story is to be all my own, but I thank her for the inspiration!
