This story follows Surge the Tenrec and Kitsunami the Fennec (characters from IDW Sonic Comics), beginning after Starline's death. It tells how these two weapons experience a life unimaginable to either of them: genuine bonds, a place that feels like home, completely unfamiliar traditions, and people who believe that even monsters can change. A story about second chances, secrets, and learning to choose who you want to be when the world has already decided for you. WARNING: Contains Kiturge/Surge x Kit (fanon: Surge is 12, Kit is 8; no sex). If you're not comfortable with this, stop at chapter 22. From there, the story becomes more explicit.
