The way she uses it is the same way or almost the same way it is used in Rainbow Rowell's Carry On. I do not claim to own anything from her book. Those who have read her book will see that this has a very similar style. This is simply because I enjoyed her book and how it was written, I do not mean to take any credit. I respect her greatly and very much enjoy the mentioned book. Dem, as you may know, was created for the same universe as Purple Royzuka's character, Purple. To avoid causing plot holes in his story line and therefore being unable to canonize this book, I will not be using him in this story. He may be mentioned in the explanation of Dem's backstory or in her dialogue, but never directly used to avoid issues. This means Dem will be slightly edited compared to herself in his stories.
